Bennett's (red-necked) wallaby
Bennett's wallaby showing typical upright stance, powerful haunches and 'on alert' watchfulness.
Note the red'sh coloured fur on the shoulders in contrast to the grey-brown fur. This animal was photographed in south Canterbury.
