A fallow deer hind grazing.

A fallow hind with light brown sides and white spots. Fallow colourings can be highly variable. This type of colouring, sometimes referred to as ‘Spanish fallow’, is uncommon in New Zealand. Black or dark brown fallow deer are much more common in New Zealand.
